Operations Technical Analyst Senior

Partner with key stakeholders to understand operational challenges and leads efforts to develop technical solutions to achieve operational objectives and efficiencies by applying knowledge of product, relevant regulations, and administrative systems. Instrumental in implementation of solutions in complex situations. You will report to the Product Analysis Senior Manager.

What you do:

• You will analyze technical administrative opportunities and develops recommendations to improve accuracy, efficiency and compliance through collaboration with important partners and other technical areas.

• You will lead the design and development of complex spreadsheet applications and models essential to successfully delivering on administrative obligations. Ensures quality control process is satisfied within team.

• You will monitor regulations, new product offerings and changes to existing product for impacts to technical team responsibilities. In collaboration with other areas, determines new requirements needed to update impacted applications and processes.

• You will assist with training and development of individuals. Senior reviewer of other’s work.

• You will participate in important initiatives and special projects as assigned.

• Documentation of processes and analysis performed.

What you bring:

• 4-5 years’ experience in relevant technical or business field required

• Four-year degree in Mathematical or related field required; or equivalent experience

• Advanced technical skills in:

o Microsoft Excel functionality including Visual Basic for Applications

o Product features and mechanics and their administration systems

o Modeling of product features

o Relevant regulations and mathematical interpretation of policy language

o Understanding of basic Actuarial concepts
