We are looking for a Business Development Analyst based in Chicago.

The Impact You Will Have

• This role will work closely with Distribution and Underwriting leaders to help with sales enablement by leveraging data to grow and retain Allianz Commercial business. 

• You will provide analysis and reports on the operational performance of the Distribution function. 

• You will play an essential role in answering data questions on brokers and clients; share of wallet and growth opportunities.

• Build and maintain effective relationships with key business stakeholders to fulfill projects, support as needed and develop external broker/client presentations. 

Some of your specific responsibilities include:

• Ensure high quality work results are delivered in time through a clear understanding of the business needs and deploying a rigorous approach to improve business results and in line with strategic priorities.

• Engage internally across underwriting teams to help articulate from data analysis the opportunities for growth by broker, client and region. 

• Prepare formal presentations and analysis related to the Allianz Commercial business for key stakeholders.

• Leverage broker and internal data to drive growth on new and renewal business.  Engage with external key broker partners to analyze how best to use broker platforms to improve results.

• In alignment with business priorities identify business improvement opportunities relating to processes, organizational capabilities, and business IT applications.

• Compile best practices and share within Distribution and Underwriting teams as relevant. Best practices can include, but are not limited to project approaches, lessons learned, application of methods and tools. Deliver proactive sharing through written communication, presentations or conference calls.   

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• 3-5 years experience in project management experience and strong communication skills     

• 3-5 years experience with Excel, PowerPoint, SalesForce

• 1-3 years experience in the insurance industry   

• Business Administration Degree of similar, Master’s preferred

The annualized base pay range for this role is $75,409 - $128,400. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.  As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
