Are you the thought leader to support our API management, Digital User management platforms in DLL to support the continuous digitalization of the way DLL interacts with customers?

You can

• Create solution designs/visions for complex business scenarios involving multiple application systems in multiple (cloud) environments involving multiple customers.
• Bring our platforms with regards to API management, digital user management and all attached systems to the next level.
• Motivate, inspire, and facilitate scrum teams and proper development of solutions adhering to Reference Architectures.
• Support the Community of Practice for fellow architects and senior developers/designers to share knowledge on applications and API architecture.
• Ensure architecture and design standards are embedded in the Delivery Teams across the globe.
• Actively contribute to improve Enterprise Architecture by closely cooperating with Enterprise Architecture and peer architects.
• Create and maintain architecture models in ArchiMate.
• Ensure the baseline Architecture and API architecture is always up to date and meets the DLL standards.
• Keep track of modern trends in API architecture and digital channels.

Day to day:

• Deliver solution designs, as well as, support solution designers in various teams with guidance on how to use the integration platforms, authentication/authorization flows.
• Accountable for the quality of applications and APIs by providing professional guidance and by performing quality assurance activities.
• A networker, responsible to develop and maintain the Reference Architecture for Integration and APIs for DLL that connects to the needs of all stakeholders.
• Pragmatic, able to balance long term strategic direction with short term needs. You are result driven and apply expert judgement to decide when to submit an exception to an architecture standard to drive business change forward.
• Support the PO’s of the integration teams to take the right decisions and determine the midterm strategy.
• Comfortable in working in an Agile delivery model enabling fast delivery of the investment portfolio continuously ensuring strategy objectives are achieved as well.
• An Excellent communicator who easily can interact with management in the domain, able to convey complex process and IT subjects in senior management terminology.
• The coach for peer architects and developers in DLL stimulates their professional development while driving the adoption of architecture in the team.
• Open to learn, always having an outside in view focused on the customer to ensure that the Architecture of the domain anticipates timely market developments and customer needs.

Essentials:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in Information Technology.
• 5+ years of experience building system integrations.
• Recent knowledge on the market with regards to API management, Azure, software development with a focus on integration.
• Excellent communication in speech and writing in English.
• Broad understanding of strategy and architecture modelling standards.
• Over 5 years of experience in Application and API Architecture, preferably in the financial industry, including Cloud-native application development and lifecycle management.
• Experience with a variety of applications integration patterns
• Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful (API) services.
• Proven experience with Azure Integration iPaaS
• Experience with Identity and Access Management, CI/CD, Application health and performance Monitoring, Logging etc.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design principles and coding practices, such as encapsulation and inheritance

Applicable Pay Range

$118.837,51 - $178.256,27

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the applicable pay range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
