About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solutions Consultant, Advisory that is multi-disciplined across technical sales, product development and marketing, and onboarding processes. This professional will join our dynamic team specifically focused on the Advisory line of business to help grow market share and support the strategic direction of our technology systems and partnerships. This role will assist in the design and scale of Apex's ability to market, sell, implement, and grow the Advisory custody and clearing business.

Duties/Responsibilities 

  • Develop a deep understanding of Apex clearing and custody solutions, products, capabilities, and its shortcomings across the competitive landscape.
  • Participate in prospect discovery calls, research existing clients, and identify pain points. 
  • Engage with prospects to build and maintain relationships before and after the sale.
  • Proactively pitch advisory to existing fintech clients
  • Create and administer demo outlines and videos for Apex systems and third party platforms.
  • Provide internal and external presentations and education to key stakeholders.
  • Partners with CX Lead to ensure ongoing education materials are effective.
  • Support new or existing customers during onboarding, implementation, integration, configuration, and customization.
  • Liaison with platform partners to strategize on integration priorities and make recommendations for changes or additions.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 7+ years transferable work experience, preferably in cloud sales, financial technologies, or custody and clearing
  • FINRA Series 7 license required (or willingness to obtain)
  • Demonstrated success in the support of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, SaaS models, and cloud-based infrastructure specific to the securities industry
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead conversations with decision makers and clearly articulate the value-add of leveraging Apex’s cloud-based solutions.
  • Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Desire to grow and lead teams in the future with similar skill sets.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
