Leidos is seeking a Senior Level Microsoft Power Apps Developer to join our team to support the Department of Justice (DOJ) Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR). We're looking for a candidate with strong consulting skills and hands-on experience developing solutions from scratch utilizing Microsoft Power Apps. Candidates should be experienced designing, configuring, and deploying solutions utilizing the full Software Development Life Cycle. The Power Apps Developer will collaborate with a mix of technical experts and architects, business/product owners, business analysts, technical writers, testers, and scrum masters in an Agile-Scrum environment.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions using Microsoft Power Apps.
• Develop custom applications from scratch using Microsoft Power Apps, ensuring high-quality code and user-friendly interfaces.
• Integrate Power Apps solutions with other Microsoft platforms such as SharePoint, Teams, and Dynamics 365.
• Optimize performance and scalability of Power Apps solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power Apps applications.
• Stay updated on the latest Microsoft Power Platform features and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
• Expert level knowledge in Power Apps formula language (PowerFx) and Canvas app development
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years' experience as a Software Engineer. Significant career experience with Microsoft Power Apps Development
• Experience with model-driven app development and Power Apps portals
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Power Platform architecture and components.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Power Automate.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Agile-Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework
• Client Interaction experience
• Strong Problem-Solving abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers verbally and in writing.
• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information.
• This position is currently remote but may change to hybrid (remote/onsite) in the future due to government requirements.
