Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Voice Engineer to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for the design, implementation, administration, maintenance, and day-to-day monitoring and operational support of our Telecom infrastructure. This person will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving voice-related issues, ensuring optimal voice quality for our internal and external users.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge and exposure on Avaya Communication Platform and Genesys Engage On-Prem Components and Products

• Linux server and Kubernetes cluster knowledge is a must to support our existing Telecom/Call Center Infrastructure

• Design, deploy, and maintain VoIP systems, including hardware, software, and configurations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve voice-related issues, such as call quality problems, dropped calls, and network connectivity issues.

• Monitor and analyze VoIP performance metrics to identify and address potential problems.

• Configure and manage call routing, auto attendants, voicemail systems, and other voice features.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest VoIP and Call Center technologies and industry trends.

• Work with other IT departments to develop design strategies and implementation plans for new initiatives and/or resolve problems.

• Document Telecom system configurations and procedures.

• Provide technical support to users regarding VoIP features and functionalities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferably in related field or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining VoIP systems.

• Strong understanding of VoIP protocols, such as SIP and RTP.

• Experience with VoIP platforms, such as Avaya Aura and Genesys Engage On-Prem.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
