We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a deep understanding of mortgage processing to take on the role of Principal, Process Improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing our current mortgage processing workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize data analysis techniques to evaluate and assess the efficiency and effectiveness of current mortgage processing workflows.

• Create detailed process maps and documentation to illustrate current mortgage processing procedures, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mortgage processors, underwriters, and IT professionals, to gather insights and feedback on existing processes.

• Develop and present recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis and industry best practices.

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement approved process improvements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and workflows.

• Develop training materials and documentation for updated processes, ensuring that team members are well-equipped to adapt to changes.

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor and report on the success of implemented process improvements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven experience in mortgage processing, with a deep understanding of end-to-end mortgage workflows.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or TQM preferred.

• Experience in process mapping and documentation.

• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively across departments.

• Change management expertise with the ability to lead and influence others.

• Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or TQM a plus.

• Familiarity with process automation and technology solutions is a plus.
