A day in the life.

As our National Events Specialist you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and lines of business leaders to plan events and meetings throughout the year. As the National Events Specialist, you will coordinate travel arrangements for large groups, secure hotel room blocks, and meeting and event spaces. You’ll work closely with hotels, restaurants, and vendors, negotiating favorable rates and terms, to ensure a seamless experience for attendees. You will also be responsible for working with internal stakeholders and lines of business leaders to ensure that all aspects of the event are aligned with the Company's goals and objectives. The National Events Specialist will be critical to the success of large-scale events, and you will need to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that everything runs smoothly. The National Events Specialist will collaborate with the National Digital Events Specialist to support digital events as needed. The National Events Specialist will also be required to travel as needed.

  • We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
  • 5+ experience in event planning and coordinating large-scale events
  • Experience negotiating contracts, developing event concepts and themes
  • Coordinate logistics such as transportation and accommodations
  • Manage event staff and volunteers; oversee event set up and teardown
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Manage event marketing and promotion
  • Experience creating event budgets and timelines
  • Strong understanding of travel arrangements and logistics
  • Comfortability working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times
  • High level attention to detail and quick decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
  • These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
  • Relationships with vendors around the U.S.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and delegate tasks 
  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

The applicable base salary range for this role is $56,430.00-$105,420.00.  The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
