Data Scientist

Meltwater is seeking a talented Data Scientist who thrives on uncovering patterns within time series data to join our innovative team. We're looking for a dynamic team player who is passionate about leading the way in utilizing time series analysis, prescriptive analytics, and LLM for our groundbreaking projects.

What Youll Do

• Gather requirements to understand project objectives.

• Build scalable data pipelines for efficient data processing.

• Conduct data analysis and train models on large-scale datasets.

• Develop cloud-native APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to serve models.

• Collaborate with software engineers to set up DevOps, logging, and monitoring systems.

• Receive feedback from sales and clients for continuous improvement.

• Perform ad-hoc updates and troubleshooting as needed to maintain smooth operations.

What Youll Bring

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field AND 5 years of data science experience focusing on time series analysis and predictive analytics OR Masters degree in a relevant field AND 2 years of data science experience with a focus on time series analysis and predictive analytics.

• Strong proficiency in Python, including proficiency with common data science libraries such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, and scipy.

• Demonstrated expertise in time series analysis techniques.

• Proven experience in Predictive Analytics.

• Familiarity with LLMs (specific meaning not provided).

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and API frameworks, including but not limited to flask, fastAPI, and gunicorn.

• Knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, along with experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
