Description

• Comply with regulatory requirements including Bank Secrecy Act- Anti Money Laundering, OFAC, US Patriot Act, Privacy Act and Community Reinvestment Act.

• Attend trainings and meeting as assigned.

• Comply with the Bank’s established loan policies and procedures.

• Conduct at least one CRA call each quarter and participate in community affairs to identify the needs and to enhance bank’s CRA activities.

• Close loans in accordance with the Department’s procedures.

• Follow up on all required covenants such as collection of annual tax returns, financial statements and other information according to Loan Agreement.

• Follow up various insurance requirement attached to loans.

• Prepare the Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual loan reports for the Department.

• Order credit reports (Experian) and preliminary title reports as requested by loan officer.

• Prepare and review all loan documents necessary to close and disburse loans.

• Verify authorized signer & obtain signature of borrower(s)/guarantor(s) (Credit File & Documents).

• Credit file maintenance of New, Payoff, Withdrawn & Declined files.

• Answers correspondence regarding routine loan inquiries.

• File & monitor timeliness and adequacy of title policies, insurance declarations, UCC & Mortgage recording, escrow closing statement, etc. Report any discrepancies and exceptions to manager.

• Administration of loan disbursement for line of credit and construction loan including, but not limited to review of loan covenant, title update and request of site inspection by 3rd party assessors.

• Process data changes as necessary (tickler system, loan control procedure & term and conditions, etc).

• Prepare & review various relating loan reports (ITI loan accounting system) as requested.

• Prepare & review loan files for various audits.

• Administration of past due loans including, but not limited to prepare a past due notice for auto loan (10 days’ notice, 15 days’ notice and 30 days’ notice) and to request issuing a demand notice to the bank’s attorney.

• Review the department’s expense invoice and order the department’s supply.

• Comply with the Bank’s security program.

• Seek opportunities to grow relationship with customers.

Job Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree

• Minimum Years of Experience: 2+ years in related fields

• Combination of Experience and Education can meet the job requirements: Yes

• Computer/ Systems Knowledge Requirements: Intermediate

• Required: Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.

• Required: Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or customer complaints.

• Required: Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, employees, regulators, or board members.
