In this high level individual contributor role, the Senior Revenue Optimization Strategic Leader plays a pivotal role in the development and execution of growth strategies for our most strategic financial institution customers. A successful individual understands the competitive landscape, voice of customer/partner and opportunities for growth. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Global Channel Alliances, USIS Partnerships and Data Driven Marketing team in “running the business" and driving executional excellence, liaising with other Business Units and Centers of Excellence, representing the team on corporate initiatives as needed and ensuring high performance by addressing road blocks. He/she will promote accountability, execution transparency, and performance traceability to drive the successful realization of a portfolio of strategic growth initiatives. These new areas of growth will span multiple verticals, domains, and business units across Equifax.

What you will do

  • Partner with Leadership team, USIS and other BU stakeholders, and COE stakeholders to translate corporate and vertical strategies into specific strategic imperatives and executable plans
  • Design and implement SLT visible executive turn-around strategy with a focus on achieving our ‘fair share’ of revenue, which represents 60% of the total addressable market of all FI’s nationwide 
  • Collaborating, influencing, and coordinating across a broad internal stakeholder group to align on strategy, develop key work streams and plans, and drive execution against those plans to drive revenue growth. Stakeholder engagement includes:
  • Senior Leadership across USIS and the Enterprise
  • Vertical and Sales leaders and respective teams across the segment, USIS, and the Enterprise
  • COE leaders including marketing, operations, legal, technology, finance, etc.
  • Drive revenue and profit generating initiatives by identify and assessing identified market opportunities by gathering market intelligence, competitive analysis and industry economics research 
  • Identify and assess sales and customer support requirements. Refine activities to reduce time to revenue for customers during the onboarding process (as well as product training).
  • Engaging with the team and across the organization to anticipate and address risks and issues, drive accountability, manage expectations with key stakeholders, execute, and report progress towards the goals and objectives of each initiative.
  • Developing structure, cadence, agendas, content and leading various forums related to initiatives (eg operational reviews with core team, regular updates or steering committee meetings with senior level stakeholders)
  • Establish effective business processes for handling customer problems when they emerge, determine the root causes of lagging revenue growth and/or profitability
  • Leading the development of various reporting packages related to the initiative including financial reporting, pipeline reporting, and program health reporting
  • Partnering with Finance to develop annual segment budget and business plans
  • Developing content for various communications (USIS updates, Quarterly webcasts, segment overview)
  • Representing the segment on corporate and special projects as required, including third party consulting engagements

What experience you need

  • Minimum Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 8 years experience in strategy development, customer / market insights 
  • Demonstrated expertise in communication, presentation skills, sales and consulting 
  • Experience leading and successfully delivering results for complex growth initiatives or business transformations which involve large cross-functional teams in a fast paced, highly matrixed environment, with aggressive timelines
  • Ability to endorse change, sponsor change initiatives and search for other organizations best practices to adopt or modify change 
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and create consensus where appropriate with internal groups and external clients and/or strategic partners 
  • Strong analytical capability and ability to sift through data to inform insights and industry trends
  • Project and program management and process improvement experience 
  • Strong consultative and coaching skills
  • Familiarity with the top strategic financial institutions is a plus 
  • FI domain expertise
