Salary: $66,0000-$70,000 Annually

The West Side YMCA is seeking a Reservations Sales Center Director. Under the supervision of the Guest Rooms and Residence Director, the Reservation Sales Center Director will provide leadership and direction to the successful operation of the Association Reservation Sales Center. The RSC Director will manage and provide direction to the YMCA branches for the following areas but not limited to; group sales, the administrator for our PMS (HMS), staff training Infor HMS, daily rate calendars, manage 3rd party billing.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of progressive hospitality experience.
  • At least 5-10 years of progressive hospitality experience or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of experience in a related field; or a 2-year college degree and 2 or more years of related experience.
  • Experience with a CRS and/or PMS implementation.
  • Requires solid project management skills, must be very organized.
  • Must be responsive and have excellent communication skills.
  • Reservations experience.
  • Operations experience.
  • During the transitions, this may require long days/nights.
  • Data analysis experience.
  • Experience with communicating with C-level staff.
  • Must be available to work weekends if needed for emergencies.

Essential Functions

  • Management of group sales, agreements, rates.
  • Serve as PMS Lead and super user in the maintenance of Infor HMS.
  • Act as the primary interface between YMCA staff and Infor HMS support on all PMS related tasks and issues.
  • Manage all day to day operation of the RSC office, billing, third-party extranets.
  • PMS-Infor HMS administration and maintenance; configuration of rooms, room types, rate plans, room blocks are up to date and accurate.
  • Work closely with branch residence directors to train, put systems into place and ensure system wide policies and procedures are in place.
  • Daily Room Rate Set.
  • Work with branches to Market and Promote the property (availability of guest rooms) to both international and domestic travelers following best practices.
  • Liaise with the IT department that safeguards the Virtual Machine for interface issues, open tickets, and system failures.
  • Uphold all Association policies and demonstrate the YMCA’s core values of Respect, Responsibility, Caring and Honesty. Support a positive image of the YMCA in the community and practice good public relations.
  • Auditing of paperwork and reports to ensure accuracy of all accounts. Weekly review of accounts receivables.
  • Attend trainings related to guest rooms and use this information to train Hospitality Agents to improve delivery of quality service. Attends and participates in meeting and trainings relatable to job function.
  • Planning and facilitating meetings with key team members to ensure consistency amongst branches and that we are adhering to YMCA standards.
  • Provide support as needed to the Inclusionary Housing/Residence Director and residents.
