Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Vice President of Product – Patient and Member Experience is responsible for the definition and execution of product roadmap and strategy for Press Ganey’s Patient and Member Experience Product. This market-leading and innovative product measures and provides key insights for patient and member experiences in the healthcare market. Using market data, industry knowledge and a strategic mindset, this individual will be a key member of the product leadership team, working with cross functional leaders on longer-term alignment and definition across the portfolio of solutions. Additionally, this individual will define, build and deliver new products to drive revenue growth, work with marketing and sales on market-facing evangelism and communication and support sales and partnership conversations around product vision, innovation and direction. 

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

• Accountable for creation of strategic roadmap for the Press Ganey Patient and Member Experience products

• Identifying market needs to define new products and product enhancements to drive competitive differentiation

• Building and justifying business cases for future investment in strategic areas such as AI/ML, data visualization, 3rd party data ingestion, action planning and action management, etc.

• Deliver on the Press Ganey Patient and Member Experience product roadmaps including rationalization of existing technologies and products

• Engage key cross functional stakeholders on investment, strategic direction and market impact

• Analyze existing technologies, new technologies, market developments and competition to identify and prioritize product market opportunities to deliver products to drive new revenue supporting corporate growth goals

• Collaborate with Marketing to position the Press Ganey products in the market, evangelizing longer term direction and strategy through innovation

• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop proof of concepts, scope feasibility and investment needed to drive strategy

• Understand, monitor and communicate market movement and trends to the wider R&D organization to teach and learn around market and customers.

• Utilize market, technical, customer, usage, etc to bring a data driven approach to product strategy and justify investment.

• Translate research data into actionable plans to define product strategy, direction and areas for innovation.

• Take a leadership role in the development of budgets to ensure appropriate staffing to realize strategic direction and deliver production-level innovations post proof of concept.

• Interact with executive team to gain feedback, drive alignment and communicate and influence direction.

• Lead various product managers through mentorship and coaching to develop.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years progressively responsible experience in product management and delivering next generation innovative products. 

• Experience working with Patient or Member Experience products or Health Plan / Health System companies measuring / tracking and improving member experience and engagement.

• Deep knowledge and experience building and delivering SaaS software products. 

• Experience with Health Plan Health Plan data (ingestion, mapping and interpretation)

• Ability to and history with bringing new innovative products to market (from inception to market results)

• Experience working with and communicating with cross functional stakeholders to drive alignment across multiple departments. 

• Deep / Expert industry knowledge and expertise of the employee experience space

• Direct experience with SaaS products including pricing models, operational implementation / support and user experience.

The ideal candidate will reside in Chicago or Boston.
