The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Product Management plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and vision of Xome’s product portfolio. You will lead the direction and strategy for development of Xome’s asset management and electronic-signing products partnering with the business units and engineering teams and representing and advocating as the voice of Xome’s customers.   This role will lead a team of product managers to plan and execute to a dynamic roadmap to support Xome’s strategic vision and inspire diverse and talented teams to think out of the box and to bring the best of breed solutions that leverage both current and emerging technology.   

A hands-on product leader with the ability to gather industry and technology trends to identify product gaps, net new and next generation of products and services that expand Xome’s marketability, revenue potential and value proposition.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy in alignment with Xome’s overall business objectives.

• Lead the product management team in the development and execution of a comprehensive product roadmap for Xome’s asset management and electronic-signing products

• Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leadership to identify market opportunities and establish product priorities.

Product Development

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of products.

• Work closely with engineering, user experience, marketing, and sales teams to develop and refine product requirements and specifications.

• Manage the product development process, including setting timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Market Analysis and Research

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and potential areas for innovation.

• Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations on product features, pricing, and positioning.

• Monitor industry developments and emerging technologies to ensure the Xome’s products remain competitive.

Team Management

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management team.

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages creativity and accountability.

• Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities for team members.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders for designed products.

• Present product updates, roadmaps, and performance metrics to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

• Facilitate communication and alignment between product management and other departments within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products.

• Experience as a Manager over product managers in a technology team

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Deep understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and product development processes.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
