In our Center of Excellence "Rail & Transit Solutions" in Dresden, Germany, we develop next-generation IT solutions for transportation companies in a team of digital and transport experts. Our customers include market leaders in the transportation industry in Europe.

As a Business Consultant, you will conduct business process analyses, develop studies and concepts, and support the introduction of digitalization and automation projects for transportation companies in rail freight and public transport.

Responsibilities

• Support and consultations for customers.

• Planning, monitoring and optimizing the projects.

• Analysis of business processes, requirements management.

• Development of IT concepts, proposing solutions.

• Business data modeling, support in testing.

• Support and supervision of the GoLive's.

• Supporting customers with business-related questions and support topics.

Skills

Must have

• Excellent knowledge of German and very good knowledge of English.

• University degree/advanced studies in railway transport and/or initial professional experience in the railway industry (a must)

• Business process know-how and/or strong interest in rail transport and/or public transport business processes.

• Knowledge/interest in digitalization and automation topics.

• Good understanding of complex workflows and processes.

• Analytical and structured way of working and assertiveness in the implementation.

• Ability to work in a team.

• Willingness to travel as part of projects.

Nice to have

• Specific knowledge/interest in modern methods such as simulation, artificial intelligence, or machine learning.
