The Opportunity...
As the Senior Director of Product Management at Commvault, you’ll lead a team of product managers with a mission to build products and solutions for cloud native technologies and redefine the user experience across our data protection and data security solutions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for shaping and executing a cohesive product vision that aligns with Commvault’s strategic priorities, ensuring our solutions meet the needs of a cloud-native future. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
What you'll do...
• User Experience Leadership: Drive transformation in how users interact with Commvault’s products, emphasizing streamlined deployment, seamless configuration, and easy integration within cloud ecosystems.
• Market Analysis & Competitive Landscape: Stay ahead of market trends, competitive offerings, and customer needs, especially in the rapidly evolving fields of data protection and data security. Use these insights to guide product decisions and strategy adjustments.
• Cloud Marketplace Enablement: Develop strategies to optimize procurement, deployment, and billing experiences through major cloud marketplaces, ensuring seamless customer experiences across all platforms.
• AI-Driven Innovation: Spearhead initiatives to leverage AI to create smarter, more personalized, and intuitive user interactions, making complex tasks easier and more efficient for customers.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, adoption, and continuous improvement. Implement processes and frameworks that drive efficient and customer-centric product development.
• Team Development and Leadership: Mentor, inspire, and develop a team of high-performing product managers, promoting a collaborative and growth-oriented culture focused on delivering world-class user experiences.
• Customer and Partner Engagement: Engage regularly with customers and strategic partners to gather feedback, validate product direction, and strengthen relationships. Use insights to refine the product roadmap and align solutions with customer needs.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Implement metrics and KPIs to evaluate product performance and customer satisfaction. Leverage analytics and user insights to make informed decisions and iterate on product strategies.
Who you are...
• 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably in data security, data protection, or cloud-based solutions.
• Proven success in building, leading and scaling product teams to deliver strategic goals.
• Strong expertise in cloud ecosystems, AI-driven/ AI-integrated product experiences, and user experience transformation.
• Demonstrated track record of building cloud native solutions that align with customer needs and deliver impactful experiences.
• Exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and people/product leadership abilities.
