Data Engineer for Information Domain

As a Data Engineer for Information Domain, your responsibility within the Enterprise Architecture team is to maintain the information domain as defined by regulatory requirements such as DORA.

To this end, you ensure the availability, integrity, currency and accuracy of the data from federated sources and take ownership of the data model, the integration, ingestion and processing (ETL) of data as well as the maintenance of involved applications, databases and underlying technology services.

You closely collaborate with the Enterprise Architects and the representatives of the functions contributing to ensure that reports on the different components of the information domain as well as their relationships are always available in the best possible quality and continuously improved.

This role will be based in Frankfurt or Munich.

What you will do

• Ownership of the information domain data, data processing, data model and reports

• Ownership of data contracts with contributors

• Ownership of the maintenance of involved applications and technologies (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Databricks, Azure Power BI, Python scripts)

• Ownership of the integration of federated data sources (e.g. Service NOW, ADOIT, SQL databases) via different interfaces (e.g. REST API or ODBC)

What you bring

• 3+ years of practical experience with data engineering

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and terminology especially with the focus on information domain

• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture

• Willingness to take ownership and work independently

• Familiarity with involved technologies

• Good communication skills

• Well organized

• Fluency in English, both verbal and written
