We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Enterprise Business Developer – Commercial – Global Tax & Statutory Accounting. Reporting to the Director EMEA Enterprise Sales and Account Management, this full-time and permanent position is based in United States (USA) and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Corporates Department and it’s growth.

Purpose of Role

The Corporate EBD is responsible for commericalising and selling Visra’s global Tax & Statutory Accounting Compliance & Advisory services to new clients in the EMEA region.

Scope 

Responsible for UK and Ireland Corporate Sales – with a focus on global Tax & Statutory Accounting (Compliance & Advisory)

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and land high-value prospects in the market to expand Vistra’s customer base and capture global market share

• Nurture leads and develop initial relationship with assigned new business accounts

• Develop and execute a strategic plan for prospects to ensure targets are met and exceeded, creating individual strategic account plans for priority prospects

• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and proactively apply product and market knowledge to sell insightful, innovative solutions

• Ensure timely, seamless transitions of leads from Marketing Development Reps, providing regular feedback on lead quality to continuously improve pipeline

• Leverage global Tax & other discipline Subject Matter Experts to provide the technical expertise & knowledge to sell insightful, innovative solutions during the time of sale

• Collaborate with EAM and SME to negotiate and close new business, ensuring smooth account transitions after the initial sale

• Coordinate with Onboarding team to guarantee effortless handoffs and white glove service is provided once the initial deal is closed/won

• While selling all of the Vistra range of core services and products, Key focus will be on selling global Tax & Statutory Compliance and Advisory, including multi-country/corporate group outsourced:

• Local GAAP Financial Statements

• Corporate income tax returns and associated tax agent services

• Indirect tax returns

• Global Corporate Tax Advisory – focused on governance, risk and compliance, with full support of global advisory team

• Global Indirect Tax Advisory – focused on governance, risk and compliance, with full support of global advisory team

• Global Transfer Pricing

• Corporate group restructure and multi-country tax-efficient entity rationalization

Attributes/Technical Skills

• A self-starter with a mature and established intermediary network as well as direct client relationships with potential new business opportunities.

• An entrepreneurial and solution minded individual

• Strong knowledge of and experience at Commercialising the global Financial Statement and Tax Compliance process and associated Advisory (including Transfer Pricing) opportunities

• Proven experience and success in a similar sales/business development role

• Excellent network and market knowledge across the UK or EMEA corporate, tech and VC

• Strong team player with ability to also act alone

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritise

• Proactive, self-motivated leader with ambition, energy and drive

Relevant Experience

• Minimum of 7 years Business Development experience in Corporate / MNCs VC/PE backed scale-ups / Tech & Life Science sector

• An understanding or experience selling Tax & Statutory Accounting Compliance & Advisory.

• Demonstrated ability to identify, prospect, convert and deliver new revenue

Education and Professional Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or validated network within the industry with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience

• Desirable – accounting, tax or legal qualification
