THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our operations in the Credit Union space. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and overseeing sales and marketing activities across the region.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in the financial services software industry and a deep understanding of the Credit Union space.
OPPORTUNITIES
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive growth and profitability in NAM.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive activities.
Collaborate with the executive team to align regional objectives with the company's global strategy.
Business Development & Sales:
Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing accounts.
Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals with major financial institutions and partners.
Market Expansion:
Identify, assess, and enter new markets across NAM, considering the unique cultural, economic, and regulatory environments of each country.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and market penetration.
Collaboration -Partnerships & Alliances:
Work with the Global EVP for Partners and Alliances to build and maintain strategic partnerships with financial institutions, technology providers, and industry influencers.
Evaluate and manage partner performance to ensure mutual benefits and alignment with company goals.
Collaboration -Marketing &Brand Management:
Collaborate with Regional Marketing on strategies to enhance brand awareness and positioning in the NAM market.
Develop targeted marketing campaigns to drive demand and generate leads.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to increase visibility and thought leadership.
Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regional regulations.
Manage both new business and existing account management sales teams, as we are a matrix organization you will also have a dotted line into the regional finance, marketing, solutions, and services teams.
Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
SKILLS
- You should have 10+ years of sales experience in the financial services software industry, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
- You should have proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the NAM region.
- You should have proven experience on Loan Origination Systems (Commercial Lending Solutions) and Digital Onboarding Solutions.
- You should have extensive experience in managing both new business teams
- You should have strong leadership and team management skills.
- You should have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- You should have strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and drive innovation.
- You should have strong understanding of financial services software solutions and the needs of financial institutions.
- You should have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
