Director, Continuous Improvement

Essential Job Functions

• Work in a highly visible role, interacting with individuals at all organizational levels when identifying, developing, and implementing initiatives.
• Champion the continued development of employees through training and coaching.
• Profitability evaluation and cost mitigation solutions for Hub’s top customers including leading a weekly review of underperforming business
• Evaluate the impact of volume variances within the network and develop action plans for improvement
• On-time performance tracking of top accounts along with oversight of the Risk Escalation Process
• Develop and present solutions to customers that support continuous improvement objectives.
• Duties, responsibilities, and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in the transportation industry, including 2-3 years of managing a team
• Bachelor of Science in logistics, transportation, operations management, operations research, or economics is required
• Understand strategic network design principles and fleet optimization techniques
• Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
• Possess a high-level of competency and demonstrable skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities as well as flexibility to adapt to change while working in a team environment.
• Possess high level of competency and demonstrable skills in Microsoft Excel, and all Microsoft office products

Salary: $95,000 - $105,000/year base salary

This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however it may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand.
