The Office Financial Planning & Analysis team leads the annual business plan, quarterly forecasts, monthly financial and leasing reporting and portfolio-level strategic analysis for Irvine Company Office Properties.
The Team works in collaboration with property operations, leasing, asset management, development, acquisition, finance and accounting colleagues.
Reports to a Director or Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis
Job Duties:
- Support certain processes related to the annual five-year business plan, quarterly forecasts, executive-level and Board-level reporting and strategic analytics.
- Assist in preparation of month-end financial and lease reporting, variance analyses, strategic insights and strategic messaging (including written summaries).
- Support strategic analytics that provide insights into the Office Division’s operating and financial performance, cash flow growth, and scenario analyses.
- Create and maintain financial & operating tools and models in Excel, Argus and Tableau.
- Support strategic initiatives and internal process improvements, including automation and efficiency, data management, data integrity, software implementations and business intelligence platform development.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or related field; MBA a plus.
- Minimum two years of experience in a real estate finance or financial / analytical role.
- Experience with financial statements and strong understanding of corporate finance concepts.
- High ownership of work product and dedication and commitment to driving results.
- Superior in Excel, including strong modeling capability; ARGUS experience preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrates accountability, curiosity, self-drive, proactiveness, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), organization, collaboration, and high standards of accuracy and precision.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $96,200.00 - $122,400.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
