As a Network Analyst, you will apply industry best practices to assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Bank OZK network infrastructure. You will troubleshoot reported network issues, as well as assist the engineers with any tasks they may have for ongoing projects.
Essential Job Functions
1. Serve as initial point of contact for all network issues/tickets
2. Perform basic networking functions and troubleshooting
3. Configure and maintain the branch networks and equipment
4. Work closely with IT Officers in maintenance of branch networks
5. Respond to and troubleshoot network alerts and outages
6. Monitor logs and reports to identify potential issues
7. Maintain and update accurate network documentation
8. Assist Engineers with tasks related to ongoing projects
9. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
10. Travel on company business, for training or for physical installations of equipment, as needed
11. Coordinate and work toward resolution of multiple tasks simultaneously
12. Respond to issues outside normal business hours as needed to accomplish work objectives
13. Remain up to date with emerging technologies, best practices, and methods in networking and IT Security
14. Demonstrate effective time management skills
15. Embrace, support, and model the Bank’s values and mission
16. Ensure compliance with internal/external regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
1. Knowledge of and experience in networking.
2. Knowledge of and experience with computers.
3. Knowledge of and demonstrated competency in various software products such as; Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Visio, Solarwinds, Orion, and Cisco ISE.
4. Knowledge of Cisco systems and Command Line Interface.
5. Ability to maintaining confidentiality.
6. Ability to work without close supervision.
7. Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Ability to adapt well to change.
Basic Qualifications
1. High School diploma or equivalent, required
2. 1+ years of networking experience, or 2+ years of IT experience, required
3. Participation in a tiered on-call rotation for a 24/7 network, required
4. Experience with Network Monitoring software and/or SIEM software, preferred
5. Experience/Certifications with Cisco Network hardware and software, preferred
