We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President – Parent Funding to join our Corporate Treasury team. This role is located in New York, NY - HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Issuance of Senior and Subordinated Medium-Term Notes, Preferred Stock, Commercial Paper, Brokered CDs, etc.
- Execution of Foreign Exchange transactions, Repurchase Agreements and FHLB Borrowings
- Common Share Repurchases
- Cash & collateral management
- Managing foreign exchange risk
- Interaction with Street Debt Capital Markets and Syndicate Teams
- Interaction with Reserve Management, Intraday Liquidity Management
- Communicating with stakeholders and timely escalation of issues
- Performing activities within the Company’s risk, governance and control frameworks
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or Math/Statistics and Computer Science
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong academic record, with strong intellectual curiosity and a familiarity with fixed income markets
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complicated concepts both effectively and concisely
- Control-oriented mindset, with a high attention to detail
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High degree of personal accountability, good judgement, and an ability to deal with sensitive and/or confidential information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment
- Ability to gather information and perform rigorous analyses
- Strong Excel skills, preferably with a familiarity in SQL or Python
