Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse—Wound Care is responsible for developing, enriching and stimulating the nursing staff to achieve their optimum level of professional performance in preventing, assessing, caring for and documenting wounds.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, 
• 1 to 2 years’ experience as a wound care nurse in long term/acute care setting required
• Active and current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Wound and Ostomy (WOC) Certification Preferred

Preferred Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Membership in professional organizations preferred
