Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.

Responsibilities

According to nursing care standards, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care services to patients with a specialty care needs. Has responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patients that are in a critical care setting or potentially result in patient crisis situation. Seen as a leader during patient high acuity procedural situations.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Minimum: Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing 
• Competent in Moderate Sedation
• Required: BLS; ACLS; PALS ;
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Desired: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Desired: Two (2) year critical care experience
• Preferred: Critical Care Certification, and/or Certified Radiology RN (CRN)
