As a Financial Center Relationship Specialist, incumbents will serve as versatile banking professionals, responsible for delivering a wide range of banking services to both individual customers and small business clients. Incumbents will act as dedicated points of contact for small business clients, providing tailored financial solutions and exceptional service to support the client's growth and success. In addition to the Small Business focus, this role will be an active part of the Financial Center Performance, delivering an unparalleled customer experience to all customers, from service to sales, focusing on a seamless one-stop experience for all their financial needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of small business customers, serving as their primary point of contact for all banking needs. Build strong relationships with clients to understand their business objectives. This will include having needs-based conversations to identify and provide tailored recommendations for banking products and services that support their growth strategy. Identify opportunities to deepen relationships (cross-sell) and expand the banks small business client base through prospecting, networking and leveraging leads and referrals.

• Drive proactive sales conversations through various channels, both internal and outbound. This involves engaging in outbound campaign calls, handling inbound contact center inquiries through participation in Fulton Banks Distributed Work model, scheduling appointments, and actively engaging customers in the lobby. Use digital tools to proactively demonstrate digital solutions to customers. Identify sales opportunities and convert them into tangible outcomes to meet or exceed sales goals.

• Utilize the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to actively promote a variety of banking solutions to enhance the overall service experience for customers. Maintain proficiency in deposit accounts, consumer and small business lending opportunities, credit cards, investment options, and promoting digital solutions. Provide customers with a one stop experience regarding all their financial needs by focusing on customer-centric conversations to deepen relationships and become their trusted advisor.

• Manage risk by maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and Fulton policies and procedures, while demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.

• Recognize the demands of this role may vary based on Financial Center traffic and customer needs. Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in allocating time across different tasks such as engaging in proactive sales conversations, working in the Distributed Work Model, or processing transactions, all while delivering customer satisfaction with every interaction.

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide transactional support for customers on an as needed basis.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Specialty: not applicable at this level. (Required)

• Associate Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Business or other related. (Preferred)

Experience

• 3 or more years demonstrated sales experience. (Required)

• 3 or more years customer service experience. (Required)

• 2 or more years prior banking experience (preferably to include Small Business). (Preferred)

Certifications

• Notary Public. (Potentially)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Pro-active and result oriented (drive for more) (Required)

• Highly collaborative (with partners, manager and Financial Center teams) (Required)

• Excellent communication skills and ability to have needs-based conversations (Required)

• Desire to serve as a sales/service expert serving Small Business clients in the Financial Center (Required)

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. Each employee of the Organization, regardless of position, is accountable for reading, understanding and acting on the contents of all Company-assigned and/or job related Compliance Programs, regulations and policies and procedures, as well as ensure that all Compliance Training assignments are completed by established due dates. This includes but is not limited to, understanding and identifying compliance risks impacting their department(s), ensuring compliance with applicable laws or regulations, and escalating compliance risks to the appropriate level of management.
