The incumbent will manage High Net Worth (HNW) insurance cases, ensuring efficient and effective case management. This role requires experience in managing the external and internal stakeholders and preferably underwriting skills to assess and close deals. The ideal candidate will be technically experienced, and highly professional in managing HNW life insurance applications.
The Job
Case Management:
- Manage and coordinate the underwriting process for high-net-worth clients, from initial assessment to policy issuance and provide post-issuance client support.
- Provide exceptional customer-centric experience through effective liaison with internal & external stakeholders, including bank specialists, business development managers, New Business Underwriting & Compliance Teams.
- Ensure fast turnaround for requirements gathering, facilitating timely policy issuance and delivering a positive client experience.
Client Engagement:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for bank specialists, relationship managers and the clients
- Build & maintain strong relationships by engaging them in regular case discussions & addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly from onboarding perspective & to convey rationale for case decision with clarity.
Case Monitoring:
- To prepare tracking reports that accurately reflect the status of the cases
- To ensure the case turnaround time meets the service level agreement To ensure all case requests are recorded and attended to
Others:
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns/ risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Our Requirements
- 3 – 5 years’ of relevant experience in similar capacity
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in case management and underwriting, preferably within the High Net Worth insurance sector.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
