Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist

Spire Southampton are looking for an experienced Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist to join the Physio team on a full-time permanent basis. You will provide highly skilled and specialised assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients within the in-patient/out-patient service.

Duties and responsibilities

• To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within the in-patient/out-patient department with a focus on Respiratory
• Discuss, agree and explain responsibilities for the physiotherapy assessment of patients, including their needs and any associated risks
• Using clinical reasoning skills develop treatment plans that are appropriate to the patient taking into consideration their physiotherapy care, risks and wellbeing.

Who we're looking for

• Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ post graduate clinical experience 
• Experience working with Respiratory patients
• Experience of assessing, diagnosing and treating a range of patients/cases
• Must have UK experience working in a hospital or clinic setting

Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5hrs per week, working across a 7 day service. Core hours are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with participation flexibly at the weekend.
