Lab Operations Manager

The Role
Manage organization and operational functions of the clinical laboratory and pathological services of the site laboratory assigned.

Key accountabilities
a. Manage and handle organisational and operational functions of the clinical laboratory and pathological services
b. Provide for growth, expansion and diversification of the department in keeping with the needs of the hospital and the organisation
c. Act as a liaison with other department managers and hospital administration to co-ordinate the work of the laboratory with other department functions
d. Oversee operations of the site laboratory as assigned

Qualifications & Experience
a. At least 5 years experience working in a medical laboratory or equivalent.
b. Technical competency and knowledge of lab accreditations.
c. Organisational, management and people skills.
