JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

Data is considered as one of our major assets and the fuel behind our future success in being the benchmark in the market, enhancing customer relationships, the driver of our competitive advantage, and ensuring the company’s profitability.

As a Business Analyst (m/f/d) you will be working with data experts, focused on delivering business insights that matter for the Investment Management of the Allianz Group with a particular focus on our Investment data and analytics.

You will be part of the Asset Owner Product Development team and shape the future of Investment Data within the Allianz Group. We will enhance our Oracle database with cloud-based services, so you should be excited to get involved into new technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be an expert for the solution design for our Allianz Asset owner

• Transform business requirements to technical solutions

• Analyze and improve processes and services

• Contribute to and manage internal and external projects

• Connect clients, project members, and end users

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor client changes

• Provide 3rd level support to our colleagues in operations

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• University degree preferably in data science, mathematics, physics or equivalent

• Affinity in working with data

• Experience with SQL databases and PowerBI

• Strong analytical skills with an agile mindset

• Project Management skills is a plus

• Capital market, finance and/or investment management knowledge is a plus

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proactive and solution-oriented; „can do“ attitude; pioneering spirit; team player; eager to learn

• Proficiency in English required, German is a plus
