Principal Systems Architect

Allianz Technology of America, Inc. seeks a Principal Systems Architect to Coordinate project and maintenance activities for the UW MidCorp IT team, with a focus on our integrated Underwriting application (called CUBE MidCorp Package), based on PEGA PRPC Version 7. Lead a stream within a project, ensuring component is designed, implemented and tested to PRPC standards. Proactively work and coordinate with relevant stakeholders (within IT, the business, strategic vendors/outsource partners, among others) to deliver consultancy and services. Develop concepts and solutions for critical applications/systems/etc., based on PEGA PRPC version 7 or later, following Key Design principles. Proactively conduct ad-hoc as well as regular design reviews and analysis on IT systems, documentation, processes, data, etc. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Management, Information Technology, or a related field, and 5 years of IT experience with n-Tier, database and client server design and development.

Experience must include a minimum of:

5 years of experience in design and implementation of PRPC-based solutions; 3 years of experience in J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, and Java) and Servlet or Enterprise containers (Tomcat, IBM Websphere, and JBoss); 5 years of experience with Relational Database Management System including architecting and designing for performance and scalability; 3 years of experience in Technical design skills; 3 years of industry experience in underwriting systems; 3 years of experience with PEGA PRPC version 7.1. Must have a PEGA Certification as Lead System Architect (LSA). Telecommuting/remote work available within the United States.
